Bandhan Bank Q4 Update: Advances 16%, Collection Efficiency Ratio 96%

Private lender Bandhan Bank on Tuesday shared its business update for the three months ended March quarter and financial year 2021-22, according to an exchange filing.

Lender’s loans and advances stood 1.01 lakh crore as on March 31, 2022, up 16% year-on-year and 15% quarter-on-quarter. that was 87,043 crore in the same period last year and 87,998 crore at the end of December quarter.

Private lender Bandhan Bank’s overall collection efficiency ratio (CER) stood at 96% at the end of the financial year 2021-22, up from 93% in the previous third quarter, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.

Total deposits up 24% year-on-year 96,331 crore at the end of the last quarter of 2021-22.

CASA (Current Account Savings Account) deposits up 18% year-on-year 40,072 crore while retail deposits constituted 77% of the total deposits, the statement said.

The CER of the micro-credit vertical grew by 95% in the last quarter of FY22, from 91 per cent in the third quarter of the previous fiscal.

Shares of Bandhan Bank closed down 1.0% on Tuesday 315 each on NSE.
