Bank manager commits suicide by killing wife, two sons

A 36-year-old man working as a manager in a private bank ended his life by killing his wife and two children in Thoraipakkam police station area on Saturday night.

A senior police officer said that D. Manikandan, a resident of Periyar Salai in Perungudi, was working as a manager in a private bank.

He had taken a huge loan from his friends and could not repay it. This caused domestic problems. Enraged on Saturday, he allegedly hit his 35-year-old wife Thara with a cricket bat and killed her. He also allegedly killed his two sons Tharan and Thanhan and then ended his life.
