Baris Restaurant, Delhi Offers Unique Mediterranean Experience Like No Other

When everyday homemade food becomes a bit monotonous, our taste buds start craving for something different. But sadly, now Italian and Chinese food has also been repeated. There are times when we want to surprise our tastebuds and there’s nothing better than discovering new dishes that we haven’t eaten much of already. If you agree with us, then we suggest that you try Mediterranean cuisine and that too from a place that offers authentic food full of great flavour. I recently tried Baris Restaurant which specializes in Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, and I have to admit, the eatery impressed me quite a bit.

Baris Restaurant is located in GK2 and is beautifully designed. Its opulent and opulent ambiance including the serene rooftop alfresco setting will instantly take you on a vacation in Turkey.

To eat out, I tried their Turkish menu and here’s my experience:

I started my meal with them Turkish Mezze Platter In which a variety of dips were combined with Turkish bread. All dips, individually and combined, tasted good with soft and spongy bread, but the hummus stood out from the rest. came next Adana Kebab Grilled lamb kebabs served with pickled red cabbage. The kebabs were juicy, spicy and very tasty. I turned to the carides shish – prawns wrapped in thinly sliced bacon served with vegetables on the side. The prawns were soft, cooked well and tasted great with accompaniments in tow.

These appetizers whetted my appetite for the mains, and thankfully, the best was yet to come. Ispankali Pride Pizza – A Turkish pizza in an oval shape turns out best. This unique pizza had a special freshness that made the heat all the more bearable. So, this pizza is my top recommendation. i also tried Turkish Biryani Which turned out to be a good change for my taste. It was tangy, full of flavor with chunks of juicy meat, making it a great meal. However, I would not consider it better than our classic Indian biryani; But if you are looking for a change then this biryani is a good option.

I ended my meal on a sweet note baklava duo – An obvious choice for dessert, and I was not disappointed. The baklava was flaky, sweet, rich and soft – all in the right proportions.
I will definitely go back to Baris Restaurant whenever a craving for Mediterranean food strikes.
