Actor Leslie Grace, who played the titular superhero, wrote, “Dear family! Following the recent news about our film “Batgirl”, I am proud of the love, hard work and intention of all our incredible cast and tireless crew that has been put into this film over 7 months in Scotland. I feel blessed to have worked in the process amidst the perfect great and forged relationships of a lifetime! To every Batgirl fan – thank you for the love and trust that allowed me to take the cape and be, as Babs best said, ‘My own hero!’ #Batgirl for a lifetime! (sic)”
