He said that India will not face unemployment if people use local goods for the next 25 years. The Prime Minister was speaking after unveiling a 108-feet tall statue of the deity Hanuman In Morbi, Gujarat, through video link on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti,
“India cannot afford to remain stagnant today. Whether we are awake or asleep, we cannot stay where we are. The global situation is such that the world is thinking how to become ‘atmanirbhar’ (self-reliant),” Modi said.
“I would request the saints of the country to teach people to buy only local products. ‘Vocal for Local’ is in talk. We should only use things made by our people in our homes. Imagine how many people will get employment from this.”
