For the ‘fun’ of a mill in West Bengal, workers allegedly stuffed air into the body of a colleague, Rahmat Ali, through his anus. After about 10 days of treatment, Rahmat died due to complications in a hospital recently.

The incident took place on November 16 at North Brook Jute Mill located in Hooghly district of West Bengal. Rahmat Ali was on the night shift when his co-workers allegedly grabbed him, inserted a pipe into his anus and filled his body with air.

Rahmat Ali protested this time, however, his colleagues did not stop.

Soon, Rahmat Ali’s health started deteriorating, after which he was taken to a nearby hospital.

He was first taken to the Chunchura Imambara Hospital in Hooghly. When his health worsened, he was admitted to a private hospital.

Rahmat Ali died about 10 days after the incident. Doctors said that Rahmat’s liver was completely damaged due to air pressure.

After the incident, the relatives of Rahmat Ali have lodged a complaint at Bhadreshwar police station.

The main accused in this case is Shahzada Khan, a colleague of Rahmat Ali. The Shahzada is responsible for cleaning the jute in the mill with an air pump. It is alleged that the prince forced a pipe into Rahmat’s anus and filled air in it.

Rehmat’s family has also demanded compensation. However, the jute mill is silent on the issue.
