BENGALURU: Four software professionals were killed after a truck rammed into their car, leading to a pile-up Nice Road, near Kanakapura Road, Friday at around 10.30 pm.
Victims – two men and two women, all bommanahalli and in their 30s – were on their way kengeri When a TN-registered truck rammed a Maruti WagonR bearing Kerala license plate.
The car further rammed several vehicles and all the four people were crushed to death as they got stuck between the vehicles. The pile consisted of three trucks and five cars.
Barring two cars, all other vehicles were badly damaged. Kumaraswamy Layout traffic police said that several others were injured, but the exact number was yet to be ascertained as all of them were taken to different hospitals.
