Food delivery is scaling new heights with the entry of Zomato and then Ola into instant services. Both companies promise to deliver the ordered items to your doorstep within 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, Bhavish Agarwal had a friendly joke with Deepinder Goyal-led Zomato, posting a picture of an Ola scooter carrying Zomato delivery, describing it as the ‘best looking food delivery vehicle in the world’.
Ola forays into instant food delivery services in some areas. The 10-minute food delivery is done through Ola Dash, which is available on the quick-commerce app.
The company claimed that it will deliver freshly prepared items like pizzas, wraps, rolls, even khichdi and rice bowls to its customers in just under 10 minutes.
This comes soon after Zomato announced the launch of similar services. However, Zomato has been receiving feedback for the same service recently and after this, Goyal took to Twitter to explain how the service will work. He revealed that the service will be available only for specific nearby locations, popular and standardized menu items.
And as per the reports, Swiggy is exploring similar options but has not made any announcement regarding the delivery time.
