Issuing guidelines for private schools in Punjab, CM Bhagwant Mann has asked private schools in the state not to increase the admission fee this semester and to make their books and uniforms available at all shops near the school premises. Since assuming office on March 16, Mann has made several announcements including an anti-corruption helpline, 25,000 government jobs and door-to-door ration distribution.
