Bhagyashree recommends pomegranate for skin health and more

We cannot stress enough about the importance of fruits in the daily diet. From providing essential micronutrients to cleansing the body of their fiber content, fruits are one of the best foods for a healthy diet. Each fruit has its own unique benefit, and pomegranates have their share of gifts. Actress Bhagyashree has shared a video in which she talks about the various health benefits of pomegranate. She began her Tuesday Tips video by saying, “Today we are going to talk about pomegranate. This juicy fruit is not only the answer to the night sweats and hot flashes that women commonly experience during and after menopause. but also found a host of antioxidants.”

Bhagyashree explained why antioxidants are important for the body. The antioxidant content of pomegranates makes them “extremely good for the skin” and also helps with cell repair. Bhagyashree further said, “In fact, pomegranate can be called the elixir of youth.”

Pomegranate seeds are rich in fiber and Bhagyashree explained how this fiber content benefits the body. This fiber helps keep your digestive system “flawless.” Bhagyashree further added, “Fiber helps in reducing the cholesterol as well as reducing the symptoms of early diabetes.”

Pomegranate is also rich in vitamins C and K, which boost immunity. Bhagyashree ends the video by advising her viewers to include this fruit in their daily diet.

She added in the caption, “Contains phytoestrogens that help reduce hot flashes and night sweats.” She also mentioned, “While everyone talks about berries… I personally lean toward pomegranates.”
