For cinema lovers, nothing can be more engrossing than the thought of watching a binge-worthy series on a lazy day. As winter is still around the corner and amid the threat of a pandemic, the best bet for a fun-filled weekend is a couch potato. We have compiled a list of some of the webseries releasing this week on Netflix, MX Player, Amazon Prime and YouTube which will be your full dose of entertainment.

The audience loved it when once the ‘Mahadev’ of Indian television, Mohit Raina Wore the cap of a fearless cop who set out to put an end to the nexus of crime and conspiracies. Based on real-life events, the second season of the show is all set to stream on January 20 and the trailer has already been loved by the audience. In the new season, IPS Sequeira will face the consequences of his actions against the villains in the first edition of Bhaukaal. The show also features Bidita Baig, Siddhant Kapoor, Pradeep Nagar and Rashmi Rajput.

A brand new series in the list, Detective Bumrah is a spy thriller that will cover various cases. The first case the detective is investigating is that of the care of a missing person, who mysteriously appeared in a locked room of a heritage hotel and later disappeared into the air by jumping off a roof. Many unique elements of Indian culture, such as ‘sitar vadan’ and mythological references are included in the series. Story writer-turned-filmmaker Sudhanshu Rai plays the lead role in the series, while other cast members include Raghav Jhingaran, Shobhit Sujay, Ahmed Akhlaq Azad, Abhishek Sonpaliya, Manisha Sharma and Garima Rai. It is set for release on January 21.

The much-awaited fourth edition of Netflix Original Ozark is also on the release list for the week. The new season will reportedly include 14 new episodes. As the previous season of the thriller drama left the audience with a lot of questions, it will be interesting to see how the new season unfolds. The caption accompanying the trailer reads – No one gets cleaned out, leading to further speculation about the plot. The series stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gartner. The streaming of the series is starting from January 21.

How youngsters struggle while trying to build careers, develop friendships and romance is the plot of the series, which is expected to be a good entertainer. The new Amazon Prime series Unposed Naya Journey is a collection of different stories around positivity, new beginnings and optimism. There are four stories woven together – Teen Tigra, War Room, Gond Ke Laddu, The Couple and Vaikuntha. It is worth noting that Amazon Prime released the first edition of Unpasted in 2020, which was well received by the audience. The series is slated to release on January 21, starring Saqib Saleem, Neena Kulkarni, Shreya Dhanwantri and Priyanshu Painyuli.
