The Delhi High Court on Monday dismissed CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat’s plea to register an FIR against Union leader Anurag Thakur and BJP MP Parvesh Verma for alleged hate speeches during the fight against CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) in 2020. was demanded. Justice Chandradhari Singh, who reserved the verdict in the case on March 25, said that authorization is expected from the government to register an FIR in the matter.
