The growing closeness of Rakeysh Bapat and Shamita Shetty on Bigg Boss OTT is grabbing the attention of many. Both have confessed to having feelings for each other. While Rakesh confesses that he likes Shamita in front of all the family members, Shamita tells her fellow contestant Neha Bhasin about her love for Rakesh. When Neha directly asked Shamita if she and Rakesh liked each other, the Zeher actress replied, “It’s so obvious that we do.”
However, things went awry between the two when Nishant Bhat called Shamita “arrogant (arrogant)” during Sunday Ka Vaar. Nishant also accused Shamita of misbehaving with Rakesh, which angered the actress. When Rakesh did not refuse, he committed the crime. Accused outright and decided to remain silent. Later, Rakesh tells Shamita that he doesn’t want to be dragged into her fight and that he and Nishant should settle it maturely.
The next day, Bigg Boss announces that all connections have now been snapped and all the contestants can go ahead and play their individual games. Soon after the announcement, Rakesh and Shamita were seen hugging each other. They shared a cozy moment and even kissed each other. After this Rakesh thanks Shamita for standing by him the whole time. Later in the night, Rakesh tells Shamita that he could not do the show without her. He said to Shamita, “You have stood by me like a rock. To which Shamita replied, “You too. You gave me strength at every right time. Whether the audience sees it or not, I know.”
