Bihar cabinet expansion tomorrow; RJD likely to get major share of ministerial post

The swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers will be held tomorrow morning at 11:30 at Raj Bhavan in Patna. On June 10, Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the eighth time and Tejashwi Yadav of RJD took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister.

RJD, which is the largest party in Bihar with 79 seats, will have 16 cabinet berths and 11 will go to Janata Dal United, ndtv informed citing sources.

It will be interesting to see which party will get important portfolios like Home, Finance, Taxes and Road Construction.

There were several meetings between the allies of the Grand Alliance before the cabinet expansion. There can be a maximum of 36 ministers in the Bihar cabinet.
