Bihar Woman’s Husband Helps Her Crack BPSC, But There’s A Catch – News18

Thousands of candidates appear every year for Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam. In a unique incident, a woman succeeded in cracking the BPSC exams after her husband’s failed attempt. She studied using his husband’s study materials and ended up securing 31st rank in the 68th BPSC examination. The woman named Vibha Bharti said in an interview, “My husband had also taken the BPSC exam, but he was not successful. Then I tried and was successful.” She is now an officer in the Art and Culture Department. Her success has brought pride to her entire family. She said that after assuming the position of an officer, she will attempt to bring out the hidden talent of the youth in the rural areas.

Dr Vibha Bharati is the daughter-in-law of Raghuraj Bihari Sharan, PACS President of Katarmala Panchayat of Garaul block of Vaishali District in Bihar. Her husband is Dr Gunjesh Kumar. She shared that her husband used to prepare for BPSC. But, when he could not crack it, he packed away his books. She thought of preparing for the exam and read those books. She also used to study in the library for four to five hours and finally got success. Currently, Dr Vibha Bharati is a lecturer at BEd College, Muzaffarpur. She further revealed that for the very first time, 38 posts were created for 38 districts in the Art and Culture Department.

She has received her primary education from Nawada of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. She completed her Class 10th from Chapman School. She attended Muzaffarpur University and was the topper during her graduation. Due to the absence of a post-graduate degree in the music department, the music gold medalist went to Darbhanga, where she was employed as a Class 12th teacher while she was pursuing her PhD.

Dr Vibha Bharti has proved that with dedication one can do anything. A strong support system is also a must. She received all the support from her parents, in-laws and husband, she also mentioned that her sister made a huge contribution to her success.
