The cryptocurrency has suffered a major crash with the world’s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, falling to its lowest level since December 2020. One bitcoin is currently trading for $26,970, registering a drop of almost 10% in a day. Bitcoin has fallen below 50% of its all-time high of $69,000 achieved in November last year.
