Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani has invited applications for its Start-up Incubation, ‘Conquest’. Startups from all sectors and industries are allowed to apply. More than 30 startups will be selected, who will receive personalized training in the form of one-to-one sessions, and mentorship from over 80 mentors in over 250 sessions. Registration will be open till 30th May and will be free of cost.
Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, an initiative of BITS Pilani, is India’s first student-run startup accelerator. “If you have a prototype ready, Conquest helps you get the headstart you need to customize it. Conquest opens a gateway for established companies in their pre-funding phase to grow and grow their business ,” reads the official website.

Some of the major sectors that have been involved in start-up incubation in the past are Deep Tech, Fintech, EV, Agritech, Healthcare etc. Some notable alumni include Tinkerbell Labs, Trail, SocialCops, IPO Pay, Gamezop, etc. ,
Based on parameters such as Idea, Team, USP, Markets and Competition, Conquest shortlists 30 startups, which are on their mentoring journey marked by one-on-one sessions with experts from the entrepreneurship world across various verticals like Customer Acquisition, Product, Development let’s begin. Tech, fundraising, design and sales, and marketing, it claims.
The online counseling program is for a duration of six weeks. “Breaking the boundaries of geography and time, our top 15 startups have the opportunity to receive mentoring online over a period of 6 weeks. Each session revolves around a key aspect of startup development, including pitching, fundraising, etc. Build MVP, reveal GTM strategy and product-market fit,” said the official website.
The training process includes mentoring, fireside chats, pitching, workshops and demo days. After a rigorous process of selection, the top 10 are given an opportunity to be exposed to the biggest investment firms in the industry in Bangalore.
