BITSoM records 100% summer internship, top 10% get stipend of Rs 3.01 lakh

The institute claims that the founding class of BITS School of Management (BITSOM) Mumbai has secured 100% Summer Placement Internships wherein students have been selected by several leading corporates of the country. The top 10 per cent of the approved proposals have an average two-month stipend of Rs 3,01,538, and the top 30 per cent have an average two-month stipend of Rs 2,61,712. The average two-month stipend for the top half of the class is Rs 2,29,280. The average stipend for a two-month internship is Rs 1,61,610.

A total of 50 organizations made offers in the summer internship process. Students will join their respective organizations for internship from April to May 2022.

Some of the recruiters offering BITSoM students include Bain & Company, Kearney, Arthur de Little, Deloitte, PwC, E, Korn Ferry (Hay Group), Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consumer, Beersdorf (Nivea), Pidilite, Hershey, . Aditya Birla Group, Cisco, Tata Capital, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Servin Ventures (a Silicon Valley-based VC fund) and ICICI Prudential AMC among others.

Commenting on the summer placements of the founding class, Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, Dean Bitsom said, “We have made a strong start for an institute in our first year.
