Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday alleged that BJP has made Eknath Shinde Chief Minister of Maharashtra To grab Mumbai from Bal Thackeray’s Shiv Sena.

Speaking to reporters here, Mr. Raut said, “Uddhav Thackeray clarified yesterday that Shinde is not from Shiv Sena. Now it has become clear that Shinde has been used to defeat Shiv Sena in Mumbai, where the latter has Municipal elections will be held this year.”

Mr Raut further said that Congress split several times, but Indira Gandhi’s Congress is still alive.

“Similarly, Shiv Sena is where Thackeray is,” They said.

The Shiv Sena MP said Mr Fadnavis should be commended for taking over the post of deputy chief minister as Mr Shinde was earlier a junior minister in his government, and added that discipline is maintained and orders are followed in the BJP.

Mr Raut, who appeared before the ED on Friday In connection with the money laundering probe, he said that he told officials of the central agency that he was ready to answer any questions asked by him.

“ED questioned me for 10 hours. They treated me well. I told them that if more information is required, I will submit. There is no need to fear as I have not done anything wrong. The truth is mine is together.” Told.

As a Member of Parliament, it was my duty to appear before the investigating agency if it required any information. He said that I have nothing to do with the matter they are probing.

The ED had summoned the Rajya Sabha MP for questioning in a money laundering probe related to the redevelopment of a Mumbai ‘chawl’ (rent) and financial transactions involving his wife and friends.
