BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that his party is the only alternative to TRS and can fight against the ruling party. He said, ‘People have faith in the BJP.
Addressing a huge gathering at the party office on Sunday following the merger of young Telangana led by Jitta Balakrishna Reddy and Rani Rudrama into the BJP, Mr. Sanjay said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao would conduct a meeting to assess the condition of Telangana students. Failed to hold meeting. Ukraine but TRS MLAs were welcoming him without hesitation.
“The history of Srikantacharya and others who made the supreme sacrifice is being wiped out and KCR only wants the history of his family. A Palamuru minister filed a false affidavit and those who filed the case were threatened with dire consequences,” he said, adding that all other parties are trying to stop the BJP from going ahead.
BJP national committee member Vijayashanti said the chief minister was not in Parliament when the bill on Telangana was passed. He thought of the sacrifices made by 1,200 students and others for Telangana.
After paying homage to the martyrs at the Gun Park near the assembly, Mr. Balakrishna Reddy and Ms. Rudrama came to the BJP office and announced the merger in the presence of Mr. Sanjay. He also vowed to fight against “KCR’s anti-people policies”.
Earlier in the day a meeting of the party executive was held, which was presided over by Mr. Sanjay.
