“Now it is the duty of the Congress leaders to make people aware of the reality on the occasion of 75 years of independence,” he said.

Mr. Jayakumar said that the BJP has resorted to the politics of hate by questioning the top Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi by questioning the Enforcement Directorate. He said that it is targeting Congress leaders.

“It is a matter of shame that when the country is celebrating 75 years of independence, the BJP has done politics of vengeance,” he said.

He asked the Congress workers to work to bring the party back to power at the state and national level. He said that only Congress can restore unity and maintain secularism.

KPCC working president R. Druvnarayan, former Urban Development Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake and others participated in the walkathon.
