In another question, he asked how Adani became the second richest man in the world. “After 2014, how did Adani’s net worth go from $8 billion to $140 billion? Adani was at number 609 in the list of world’s richest in 2014, how did he become world number 2? What’s the magic behind it? How much money has Adani given to BJP in the last 20 years? And how much money has BJP received from Adani through electoral bonds?” They said.
Responding to Gandhi’s allegations of nexus between the Adani group and the ruling party, Dubey pointed to controversies and scams during previous Congress governments ranging from Bofors, Bhopal gas tragedy to AgustaWestland. The BJP MP also referred to the close ties between Congress leaders and organizations like the RSS.
