“BJP Will Be Easy To Defeat If…”: Prakash Ambedkar On Opposition Unity

Prakash Ambedkar (File) said, “BJP’s defeat depends on the alliance.”

New Delhi:

Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi leader Prakash Ambedkar on Friday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party can be defeated if an alliance of like-minded parties is formed, for which leaders will have to put aside their “ego”.

He was speaking on Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole’s reported statement that the Congress wanted to contest the elections alone in the state.

Prakash Ambedkar said, “As of the present situation, the defeat of the BJP depends on a coalition. It will be easy to defeat the BJP if the leaders give up their arrogance and the parties show big heart.”

Asked about VBA’s entry into the Maha Vikas Aghadi, which includes Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and Nationalist Congress Party, he said the issue was raised with Uddhav Thackeray.

He said that his party has identified some seats and the only question is with which alliance it will contest the upcoming elections.
