GUWAHATI: The BJP-led Assam government on Thursday decided to induct 12,000 youth in various categories in government service. Assam PoliceA step towards the party’s 2021 election promise of one lakh jobs in the current month.
“In our concerted effort to complete one lakh jobs at the earliest, it is happy to inform that today we have decided to complete the recruitment of 12,000 posts on 22nd September. After completing 30,000 recruitments in May, it will take the total number of recruitments till date. 42,000,” CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Told.
The recruitment examination for another 30,000 posts in Grade III and IV is currently underway.
