Panic spread due to the discovery of a black snake in a police uniform in a police station in Bihar’s Saran district. The deadly snake entered the police station and was found hanging from the uniform on the wall.

The incident is being told of Chhapra’s Pehleja police station. A female police officer first saw a poisonous snake sitting in an aggressive posture spreading its hood to take the uniform. A slight carelessness could have put the police officer in great danger. Later the snake was taken out of the police station.

According to ASI Bhageran Ravidas, a poisonous snake was found on the uniform hanging on the wall. The snake was hissing and it scared the people posted in the police station.

Snakes roaming freely in the area is not a new thing. Local people claim that snakes are often seen roaming freely in congested areas from Paheleja Ghat to Sonpur railway line area. According to the local people, snakes are often seen in the area during the month of Sawan.

According to Forest Department official Abhay Kumar Singh, the movement of snakes increases during the rainy season and due to this, the cases of snakebite also come more. The officer advised that before using anything, people should check it properly as a snake can be hidden in it.
