Thane: A delegation of the Hindu community, along with some members of the LGBT community, met at the Hill Line police station in Ulhasnagar on Tuesday and demanded action against the filmmaker of the documentary film ‘Kali’, in which a woman as Goddess Kali. is shown smoking a cigarette.
The delegation, in its complaint, said that the sentiments and beliefs of the Hindu community have been hurt by the poster going viral on social media.
The delegation also demanded a ban on the objectionable photographs and clips of the documentary film, which were displayed at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Canada.
