Blake Lively, a Met Gala veteran of sorts, has been serving up one hit look after another. She has also been matching her outfits with the color of the carpet. The internet, which is a huge fan of Blake’s Met Gala style, took the opportunity to look back at her iconic looks, especially this 2022 one. Blake Lively who was one of the hosts at last year’s Met Gala wore a pink Atelier Versace gown that was draped with a bow and later opened up to reveal a blue layer. His outfit was meant to celebrate the architectural wonders of New York. Her outfit changes mirrored the changes to New York landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building over the years.

One fan wrote, “No interest in the #MetGala this year because my Queen and Queen of Met Gala outfits Blake Lively isn’t going to attend. Still remembering her magical outfit from last year.”

Turns out, Blake Lively wasn’t the only celeb Twitter missed at the Met Gala this year. The list also includes Lily Rose Depp, Bella Hadid, Austin Butler, Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Timothée Chalamet.

“Yes, it’s the Met Gala 2023 but I’m still living this moment from last year,” wrote a Twitter user posting pictures of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

Input from another Twitter user: “I know Blake Lively will not disappoint.”

Another tweet read, “The Met Gala isn’t the Met Gala without Blake Lively.”

Similar thoughts were echoed in a tweet that read, “There is no Met Gala without Blake Lively.”

Another user wrote, “The Met Gala red carpet was weak without Blake Lively or Selena Gomez. What a waste.”
