Blogger made paratha with jam and sugar filling, internet goes nostalgic

Easy to make and super filling, parathas were undoubtedly a big part of our childhood meals. We often find wonderful paratha rolls tied in our tiffin boxes by our mothers for our school lunches. Be it aloo or gobi paratha, plain or mirchi paratha – there were so many paratha dishes that we loved as kids. And now, a food blogger’s paratha recipe has taken the internet back to nostalgia. This blogger, popularly known as @bismillah_rasoi on Instagram, has made some delicious parathas with jam and sugar filling and these recipes are now going viral. to keep track:

in Chinese paratha Recipe, a spoonful of sugar was spread on a flat roti. Then it is folded and cooked on a hot pan with a little ghee. Meanwhile, a similar process was followed in Jam Paratha – only the sugar was replaced by the mixed fruit jam.

Cheeni and Jam Parathas garnered over 800k views in total and thousands of comments. People loved the creations and said that these parathas took them back to their childhood and took them with them resort of memories, “Reminds me of the old days of my childhood and really misses my mom,” wrote one user, “One of my favorite lunchboxes!” Others liked the Chinese paratha, saying it was better than any other paratha they had ever tasted. “My favorite paratha! Interestingly, this is not the only paratha recipe to go viral recently. A woman made a chocolate paratha and made it viral by pouring vanilla ice cream on it.
