BMRCL on Tuesday announced that it will extend service hours from Thursday (November 18).
From Monday to Saturday, the first trains will depart from terminal stations at 6 am, and on Sundays at 7 pm the last train will leave from Nagasandra, Silk Institute, Kengeri and Baiyappanahalli stations at 11 pm. BMRCL in a release said that all the days will be at 11.30 pm in all the four directions.
A large number of people are using Namma Metro services to go to work. Many were demanding that BMRCL, which was running trains from 6 am to 10 pm, increase the operating hours after the government lifted the night curfew in the first week of November.
