Germany’s BMW plans to create 6,000 new jobs next year to prepare for rising demand for its electric vehicles, the carmaker’s chief executive told the daily Muenchner Merkur.
BMW is on a very good path through transformation and its plants are ready for e-mobility, Oliver Gipsey was said in an interview published on Wednesday. “That’s why we will increase our workforce by five percent next year.”
