The bodies of two youths, who had allegedly drowned in the Saria waterfall in Jinabadu Panchayat under Anantagiri police limits on Tuesday evening, were recovered by the police on Wednesday morning.
SI K. According to Ramu, four friends of Vizag city- D. Sai Kumar, P. Chaitanya, A. Lokesh and A. A group of Ravindra went to the waterfall for a jolly trip. Around 4 pm, Chaitanya accidentally fell into the water. D. Sai Kumar also jumped into the water to save him but both drowned.
The bodies were sent to Chodavaram Hospital for postmortem.
Ananthagiri police have registered a case.
