Boyfriend of ‘Squid Game’ doll exits Twitter as show greenlights for season 2

The Squid Game, Netflix’s smash hit from last year, has been officially greenlighted for a second season. Netflix released a brief teaser of the show with several hints about what’s to come. These include the return of Gi-hyun, the return of the front man, the possible return of the man in the suit with Dakji, and one detail that immediately catches your attention: you may be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su. Young-hee squid is the name of the game’s animatronic doll enough to give the best of us the creeps and is responsible for the red light-green light game.

It’s safe to say that Squid game fans are already freaked out (and confused) with the announcement about Cheol-su. As if one creepy doll wasn’t enough?

The announcements were made in a note from Squid Game’s director, writer and executive producer, Hwang Dong-hyuk. The note also mentioned that the show took 12 years to make, but only 12 days to become Netflix’s most popular series of all time.

Talking about dolls, South Korean sensation Park Jae-sung, better known as Psy, has decided to enter the new decade with a bang. After a long five-year hiatus, the singer decided to release the latest addition to her discography titled PSY 9th.

The new album also includes a track from BTS featuring SUGA. The track, produced by SUGA, is titled That’s It. Turns out, giving a verse to a SUGA song isn’t the only surprise and
Young-hee was to be featured in the music video but was later dropped from the final cut. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments, Psy is seen wearing the same clothes and hairstyle as Young-hee and playing on the pool table.
