BSNL He has revised his prepaid recharge plan of Rs 187. The telco has revised the daily data benefit of the plan and now comes with 2GB of mobile data per day. It offers a validity of 28 days. Earlier the validity of this plan was 24 days.
In addition, the plan offers 100 SMS per day along with unlimited voice calling and access to free ringtones. The revised plan was posted by BSNL Kerala on Twitter.
The telco revised its three affordable plans in October last year. These include cheap BSNL prepaid plans of Rs 56, Rs 57 and Rs 58.
As mentioned above, the revised Rs 187 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calling to other telecom operators. It has a daily limit of 2GB mobile data after which the internet speed will drop to 80Kbps.
The Rs 187 prepaid plan of BSNL is competing with the Rs 199 prepaid plan of Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea. Airtel’s Rs 199 plan gets 100 SMS per day and its validity is 24 days. It comes with 1GB daily mobile data limit. Unlimited Calling, 30 Days Subscription to Amazon Prime Video Mobile, Airtel Xstream, Wink Music and Hello Tunes are other benefits offered under the plan.
On the other hand, Reliance Jio’s Rs 199 plan offers 1.5GB daily data and has a validity of 24 days. It also has the facility of unlimited voice calling. Additional benefits include access to JioTV, Jio Cinema, Jio News, Jio Security, and Jio Cloud.
Similarly, the Rs 199 Vi prepaid plan offers 1GB data, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. It also provides access to Vi Movies.
