Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in the Lok Sabha in the ongoing budget session of Parliament on Monday. The debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address lasted for more than 12 hours.

Meanwhile, the Rajya Sabha saw 100 per cent productivity last week, with the Upper House making full use of the time available in the ongoing budget session in the absence of any adjournment.

The Budget Session of Parliament for 2022 began with President Ram Nath Kovind’s address on 31 January. The first part of the budget session will run from January 31 to February 11 and the second part from March 14 to April 8.
