Bus collision at crash site kills 15 in Turkey – Times of India

Istanbul: A passenger bus collided with emergency teams dealing with the first road accident in southern on Saturday turkeyAt least 15 people were killed and about two dozen were injured, officials said.
Three firefighters, two paramedics and two journalists were among those killed on the highway between Gaziantep and Nizip. Suleiman Soylu tweeted. The other eight people died on the bus, he said.
Gaziantep Gov. Daawat Gully 22 others were injured in the incident.
Ilhas News Agency It said two of its journalists were killed for helping the victims of the initial accident, in which a car veered off the highway and one fell off an embankment.
Television footage showed an ambulance with severe damage in its rear while the bus was lying on its side on the side of the highway.
Turkey has a poor record in terms of road safety. According to the government, around 5,362 people were killed in traffic accidents last year.
