BYD India, a subsidiary of Warren Buffett-backed EV maker BYD, announced the launch of the E6, an all-electric multi-purpose vehicle for the Indian B2B segment.
The e6 is equipped with a 71.7 kWh Blade battery for the city and a WLTC (World Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicle Test Procedure) range of 520 km and a WLTC (combined) range of 415 km on a single charge only. The Chinese carmaker said in a statement that it is the only Indian EMPV with such a long range.
The all-new e6 will be available in the cities of Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Chennai with an ex-showroom price of ₹29.60 lakh, which includes 7kW charger and ₹29.15 lakh 7kW charger. For the B2B market.
