BYJU’s Young Genius receives overwhelming response during season 2 registration

There is no doubt that the focus has shifted from showstoppers to talent, especially in the wake of the Tokyo Olympics when we saw the sheer talent and drive of athletes like Neeraj Chopra and Mirabai Chanu. Quiet grit and determination during their medal-winning rounds for restrained grace, after winning gold and silver medals for javelin throw and weightlifting respectively at the Tokyo Olympics, have shown the nation how to hold on until they reach the big stage. That’s exactly what India’s largest news network, News18, started and achieved with #BYJU’SYoung Genius. The show focuses on young achievers showcasing their skills on the channel, who are selected by a panel of News18 editors and eminent personalities.

Some of the other young talent on the show included Rishi Shiv P (6 years old), a member of the Mensa Society, developer of several apps and author of a book, who had an incredible IQ of 180; Avantika Kambli (10 years), the youngest person to attempt a square root world record of 6 points, and Tilak Keesam (13 years), are the Guinness World Record holders for ‘Fastest Limbo Skating Under Bar’.

Season 2 of BYJU’S Young Genius promises to be big and gorgeous. Ever since the entries were opened, there is tremendous enthusiasm amongst the parents and their children from all over the country. Not only does this allude to the popularity of BYJU’S Young Genius, but it also gives an insight into the untapped potential of young achievers awaiting the spotlight.

With over 7,500 entries in the first two weeks, Season 2 promises to unearth real gems from across India that will stun the audience and the judges with their talent and skill.
