Cairo selected as the cultural capital of the Islamic world for 2022 – Henry’s Club

Cairo: The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has announced the selection of Cairo as the cultural capital of the Muslim world next year.

Egyptian Culture Minister Ines Abdel-Dayam told a news conference that the election reflects Cairo’s status as a center of diverse cultures, a creative center and a center of thought and the arts.

He praised ISCO’s efforts to celebrate the capitals of Islamic countries and promote relations between them.
