A large number of locals on Sunday boycotted a ‘candlelight march’ in a remote village of Kishtwar district to pay tribute to the five SILS martyrs in the terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch. The officers provided this information. According to officials, “Chingam village in Chhatru area of Kishtwar district, where the march was taken out, was once a militancy hotbed. It was freed from terrorism by the security forces about a decade ago.
