Cannes Film Festival to pay tribute to iconic director Jean-Luc-Godard

Cannes Film Festival will pay tribute to iconic French-Swiss filmmaker Jean-Luc-Godard with three screenings. A pioneer of the French New Wave, Godard passed away on September 13, 2022 at the age of 91.

Goddard’s 20 Minute Trailer phoney wars, A film that was never made will be premiered at the festival. Filmmaker Fabrice Eragno, a longtime collaborator of Godard’s, will be in attendance during the screening.

Also Goddards Classic contempt will be displayed in its 4K-restored version. the third film is documentary Goddard by Goddard, A self portrait that traces his life and works.
