Nissan India reported its sales in October 2021 and the company’s wholesales last month stood at 6,917 units. The automaker sold 3,913 vehicles in the domestic market while its exports stood at 3,004 units, marking a huge jump in the company’s volumes year-on-year. The automaker reported a growth of 254 per cent in domestic sales as compared to 1,105 units sold in October 2020. Meanwhile, exports stood at just 75 units during the same month last year. The Nissan Magnite has proved to be a game-changer for the automaker contributing significantly to the volumes.

Speaking about the rapidly growing sales, Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, “The cumulative sales for the first seven months were higher than the previous full financial year, despite the challenges of Covid-19 and shortage of semiconductors affecting the supply. Nissan India has rolled out its other convenience services including doorstep service, pickup and drop service as well as Nissan Express service, all with an aim to enhance the customer experience. The company is also leasing Nissan and Datsun cars which further customers can own as per their convenience.
