Due to errors, teachers believe that students may get confused and get low marks due to confusion. “Incomplete questions and confusion in options marked the beginning of the exam. Overall the paper was difficult as the given choices were very close. As per the feedback given by the students, the paper was long and difficult,” said Anshu Arora, principal of Amity International School, Sector 43 Gurugram

“Students were framed by questions 13 and 14 where they were subjected to choices but no questions. Simple words like ‘SHOULD’ were misspelled in the paper to frustrate the teachers. In Q41, the two wrong choice inversions were identical,” said Roma Suri, Department of English, Shiv Nadar School, Noida.

“There were six questions which could have multiple correct options as they were assumption-based. A mature person will definitely reach for different options than a young student. An English paper is supposed to boost a student’s morale, but a 24 sheet paper can be a harrowing experience for at least one student.”
