CBSE allows students to change exam city, board exam center 2022

NS Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Will start its board exams 2022 with class 10 exams from 30th November and class 12th exams from 1st November. While the board had earlier said that it was trying to allow students to have their own schools as board exam centres, it has now allowed a provision as well. Students to change their city or exam center depending on their current area of ​​residence. As classes were being conducted online and in the meantime many students were shifted, CBSE has allowed students to request for change of venue accordingly.

“It has come to the notice of the Board that some students are still not in their school town where they took admission and are residing elsewhere,” CBSE said. “At an appropriate time, CBSE will inform the students to request their respective schools to change the city of their examination centre. The schools will forward the request to CBSE in an online system by following the instructions given by CBSE,” he said.

The window to change the exam city will reopen soon, however, the exam dates are not yet mentioned by the board.

The term-end examination will be of 90 minutes duration. CBSE will set the question paper and send it to the schools along with the marking scheme. The examination will be conducted under the supervision of Outstation Center Superintendents and Supervisors appointed by CBSE. The marks of both Term-I and II will be contributed to the final composite score of the students. Term-I will be conducted in November-December while Term-II will be conducted in March-April.

In the final result, 50% marks will be allotted on the basis of practical or internals. Three periodic tests, student enrichment, portfolio and practical work, speaking listening activities will be conducted for class X. Internal assessment for class 12 will consist of unit tests, exploratory activities, practicals and projects at the end of each topic.
