CBSE Class 12 Exam Tomorrow: Meet the toppers of the last three years, know their strategy

CCentral Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Will conduct class 12th class 1 examination from November 16. CBSE had announced earlier this year that the board exams for class 10 and class 12 would be conducted twice as opposed to the previous tradition of just one final exam. It has also divided the syllabus accordingly. Term 1 exam will be based on MCQs, and students will get an OMR sheet to enclose the correct options.

While this year’s exam pattern and syllabus have been changed, the board’s syllabus (reduced) is the same as last year’s and the pressure of board exams remains the same. Let’s take a look at the CBSE Class 12 toppers of the last three years and how they prepared for the board exams.

CBSE Class 12 2021 Topper

Hiteshwar Sharma of Chandigarh has emerged as the national topper of CBSE Class 12 this year. The student of Bhawan Vidyalaya, Sector-15, Panchkula, Hiteshwar was a student of Arts and secured 100 marks in Sociology, Political Science, Economics and Physical Education. His mantra for success is “continuous study with full concentration” and regular revision. “One cannot be a topper with just two months of studies; It takes years of hard work to become a topper,” Times of India quoted him as saying.

Interestingly, Hiteshwar had secured the second position at the national level in the CBSE Class 10 exams and was also a national level U-17 cricketer. He also spoke to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi During the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ event in June 2021.

CBSE Class 12 Topper – 2020

Tushar Singh of Delhi Public School, Bulandshahr secured 500/500 marks in class 12 in 2020 in Arts stream. At a time when even elementary school students were taking coaching classes, Tushar did not need any tuition assistance to top the CBSE exams. The results were declared through internal assessment as the physical examination could not be conducted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unlike Hiteshwar, Tushar had a more relaxed approach towards studies. “I did not follow any strict routine while studying. I studied for just 7 hours a day,” he told India Today. Tushar then planned to study History Honors from Delhi University and eventually become an IAS officer.

CBSE Class 12 Topper – 2019

In the year 2019, Karishma Arora and Hansika Shukla emerged as the joint toppers as both scored 499 marks. Karishma from Muzaffarnagar also became the first student of her city to top the CBSE Class 12 exams. The “careful planning” helped her achieve scores throughout the year, she said, adding that she would also give time to Kathak, which was a de-stresser for her.

On the other hand, Hansika divides her syllabus into chapters and topics and even read newspapers to know about current affairs. Ghaziabad girl watches various sports tournaments like badminton to reduce her stress
