central board of secondary Education (CBSE) achieved digital India Award 2022 – Gold for its Digital Academic Repository Initiative – Parinam Manjusha. CBSE The information technology project was selected for the ‘Data sharing and use for socio-economic development’ category of the awards. President Draupadi Murmu presented the award to Antriksh Joshi, Director IT and Projects in CBSE and Kamal Kumar Khandelwal, Joint Secretary IT. Electronics and Information Minister technology (MeitY), Ashwini Vaishnav were also present at the event.

Result Manjusha is an online repository which acts as a single source of examination result data. It was designed and executed by CBSE IT Department and merged with DigiLocker of National e-Governance Division (NeGD). The portal has information on results of past twenty-two years of board exams from 2001 to 2022, as well as results of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) from 2018 onwards. Students can access and download academic records, and admissions and guidance offices, educational institutions, and recruiting organizations can use them to verify information. All documents contain PKI-based QR codes for authentication and are digitally signed.

In addition, CBSE also intends to upload the results of students starting from 1975 on the platform. Result Box aims to make it easier for the students to get their old original documents and speed up the process, which is slow in the physical access method. Along with student results, digital copies of academic records such as grade reports, diplomas, immigration documents and skill certificates can be downloaded.

The Digital India Award – Gold 2022 is the second award of CBSE, which recognizes the Board’s exemplary online services after the 2018 award.

The National Portal of India, which provides single-window access to information and services provided by institutions of the Government of India at all levels, is the umbrella organization under which the Digital India Awards were instituted. National Informatics Center (NIC), Ministry of Electronics & Information technology (MeitY), Government of India has created, developed and managed the portal.

The selection process for the Digital India Awards involves nomination of digital initiatives by government entities through the National Awards Portal managed by the Director General of Awards, Ministry of Home Affairs.
