New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced that the first-ever board exams for class 10 will begin from November 30, while the class 12 exams are to be held from December 1.

According to Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj, the declared date sheet is for major subjects while the schedule for minor subjects will be sent to schools separately.

The short subjects examination for class 10 and 12 will begin from November 17 and November 16 respectively.

Dividing the academic session, holding two term-end exams and rationalizing the syllabus was part of the special assessment plan for Class 10 and 12 CBSE board exams for 2021-22, announced in July in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. had gone.

CBSE had last week said that the first-ever board exams for class 10 and 12 will be conducted offline in November-December.

The board had said that the test would be objective and the duration of the test would be 90 minutes. In view of the winter season, the examinations will start at 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am.
