The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon announce the schedule of class 10 and class 12 term 2 papers. The CBSE board has already conducted the class 10 and class 12 term 1 papers this month and will now conduct the term 2 exams. CBSE as well as CISCE which conducts Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), or class 10th, Indian Certificate of School (ISC), or class 12th, will not declare pass or fail status for session 1 exam.

Both the boards will conduct the class 10 and class 12 board exams in two phases. The first session ended in December and the second session exams for class 10th and 12th CBSE and CISCE will be held in March-April, 2022. After conducting the CBSE Term 2 exam the final board will announce the result.

CBSE, CISCE Term 2 Exam Pattern

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Term 2 Exam will be conducted from 50% of the syllabus. The syllabus of all the subjects is already present on the official website. Students should check them as soon as possible and start with the preparation.

It has already been declared that Term-1 will contribute minimum 50% weightage to the overall result. But the exact ratio will be shared soon. Students keep checking the official website.

It is mandatory for the students to appear in both the CBSE term exams. No average marks will be awarded to the students if they fail to appear in the examination of any session.

In Term 2 paper, questions will be based on case-based, situation-based, open-ended short answer and long answer type questions. The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours.

On the other hand, the reduced syllabus for ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) for the 2021-22 academic year has been divided into two parts, and clearly specify the units/subunits to be covered in each semester. specified from. The semester-wise theory syllabus for classes 10 and 12 is available on the website of CISCE under the ‘Publications’ tab of the website. Both the boards have divided the syllabus into two semesters with only 50% syllabus.
