CEAT Tires has launched its new puncture safe tires for motorcycles in Maharashtra as a part of its Milaaz range. The tubeless tires come with the company’s patented sealant technology that seals punctures and resists loss of air pressure making the range a truly self-healing tyre. These tires are also available in states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Goa. The company says that the sealant technology has been developed in-house and designed to protect the tire from wear at the point of puncture.

The puncture sealant technology is developed internally and is designed to resist loss of air pressure.
Speaking about this unique initiative, Amit Tolani, Chief Marketing Officer, CEAT Tires Ltd. said, “Our motto has always been to ‘Make Mobility Safer and Smarter’. and with an aim to tackle the most common problem for any two wheeler rider; a flat tyre. The self-healing feature of these range of tyres is its biggest USP which we believe is the most common problem faced by a lot of customers. Modern problems require modern solutions and we at CEAT are working towards finding those solutions for our customers.”

The self-sealing property of the new CEAT tyre helps in improving the safety aspect for the two wheeler rider, by eliminating any potential accidents caused due to punctured tyres. Moreover, the tire comes in a unique box packaging, which is also patented by the company. Tubeless tires come with a sealant that can only seal punctures caused by nails up to 2.5 mm in diameter on the tread area. CEAT Puncture Safe Tires are available in eleven different sizes.
