Center amended the form to close down companies

New Delhi: The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has modified the notice to be issued by the Registrar of Companies (ROC) for winding up of dormant companies by adding a new clause regarding physical examination of their premises, showed an official order.

The government is removing the names of dormant companies from the official register under the cleanliness drive. Companies may be dormant due to various economic reasons and are not necessarily involved in any wrongdoing.
