“Central Agency Trying To Fix Me”: Telangana MLA After ‘Pouchgate’

The BJP has alleged that the ‘poachgate’ case was managed by the Chief Minister of Telangana, and denied any links with the three accused in the case.

Speaking to NDTV, Rohit Reddy alleged that the ED was trying to ‘fix’ him as he had exposed their ‘conspiracy’ to topple the state government. He has claimed that there was no transaction of money at his farmhouse.

Mr Reddy was called for questioning on December 19 and 20 by the Enforcement Directorate in another money laundering case. However, he has alleged that the ED crossed the limits and collected his personal details without telling him in which case he was called.

“There was no money laundering that took place, no proceedings were recovered. We don’t know how ED came into this case. During interrogation, they never disclosed the case to me. There was no case or crime related information, no There was no description.” The summons I have been given,” he said.

Mr Reddy said that on the first day of the ED’s questioning, they collected all his personal information and no inquiries were made regarding any matter.

He said that after an hour’s questioning the other day, the ED told him that they had called him in connection with the MLA’s Poachgate case.

On the BJP’s claim that the three accused were not related to them, Mr Reddy questioned why then the party’s general secretary was filing the case on their behalf.

“This clearly shows the nexus between the accused and the BJP. Earlier in October, an FIR was registered at Moinabad police station following a complaint by Rohit Reddy.

The three accused have been identified as Ramchandra Bharti, Nand Kumar and Sinhayaji Swami.

In the FIR, Mr Reddy alleged that Ramachandra Bharti who had come to Hyderabad from Delhi, and Nand Kumar from Hyderabad, both belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party, had met him and offered him Rs 100 crore to join the BJP .
